As Director of Engagement, Ray’s responsibilities include overseeing and fostering strategic partnerships with national and global stakeholders in both the private and public sectors. In alignment with MADE's value-centric vision to deliver large scale developments and communities for the better, he also oversees all of MADE's sales, CX/UX, community development and arts empowerment initiatives.

Ray comes from an international background in the arts, and real estate. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London and an award-winning orchestral conductor, he also forged a successful co-career in the real estate industry upon returning to New Zealand. Ray currently sits on the board of the NZSQ alongside active involvement with other arts institutions.

In demand as guest conductor pre-Covid circumstances, Ray is an avid traveler having visited more than 25+ countries. He also loves architecture, history, museums, seeking out unique experiences, zipping around town on his motorcycle and hanging out with Charlie the cavapoo.
